Michele Bordalo, CPA

Michele has over 21 years of experience in accounting, auditing, consulting and business development.  Her experience covers all of the firms’ service offerings, including complex technical accounting, audit preparation/facilitation, SEC reporting, due diligence, new accounting pronouncement implementation including ASC 606 and compliance activities.  Her industry experiences include technology (software, SaaS, internet-based, online media and hardware), biotech, and energy/utilities.

In addition to extensive experience with routine SEC filings, she is also experienced in IPO readiness and public security offerings.  She has assisted with facilitation of the external auditor procedures with regards to the SEC filing, drafting of the document and issue identification/resolution. Michele has considerable experience implementing the new revenue accounting pronouncement, ASC 606

Prior to joining ARC Consulting, Michele was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP where she led financial statement audits, consulted on technical and operational accounting areas including purchase transaction accounting, consolidations and foreign exchange, stock-based compensation, and revenue recognition. She was involved in Ernst & Young’s Global Technology Center and was involved in writing thought leadership articles on revenue recognition and SEC comment letter trends, as well as serving in an IFRS implementation and consulting capacity. Michele has also done an international rotation in the United Kingdom.
